All wrapped up...

Colton was in bed the other night and was calling his bear his baby. He bundled his bear up in his blankie and was holding him. Here's a funny convo from that situation:

Mommy: Your bear is all wrapped up.
Colton: No it's not. You wrap presents up. Not babies.

Share Bear

Colton loves cereal and was very happy to feed it to me this past weekend.

But then I'd be naked...

Santa brought Colton a barn for Christmas. It included a farmer,k a chicken, a horse, cow, and a sheep. Colton loves playing with it and I told him we could buy him more animals at the store for his farm. We went to the dollar store and they didn't have any. The next day Colton was wearing jammies and we were in the car.  He remembered about his promised farm animals and said

"We need to buy farm animals at the store."
I replied with, "We can go to the store, but you can't wear jammies"
Colton's response was "But then I'd be naked."

I guess in my head I knew I would put jeans and a shirt on him, but he didn't catch that and thought if he wasn't wearing his jammies in his store he would be naked.

Welcome

I'm a single parent and have the most amazing 3 year old. Sure his dad drops in occasionally (once a month) to see him, but I still think of myself as a single mom. We're actually going through custody/support with FOC right now...but I'll save that 'fun' for another day.

I was just thinking of all the adorable things my sons says/does that I forget to document so I created this page to write down and remember all the silly/sweet sayings.
